Mr. Babbin,
Please do not try to quote ancient documents of which you are ignorant. 
The other day Mr. Babbin delivered a misquote that is commonly made by those who do not know their Holy Scriptures, but usually not by someone who should know his history.
When a caller was trying to have a theological discussion(which i agree is not appropriate for the Hugh Hewitt show) with Mr. Babbin, he (J.B.) ended the call with a quote. Mr. B quoted "God helps those who help themselves", and said it was to be found somewhere in the Bible.
Mr. Babbin, our own dear Mr. Benjamin Franklin created that proverb and it is found in Poor Richard's Almanack.
I admit that publicly displayed ignorance of the Holy Bible and our U. S. History are particular peeves of mine. Imagine my surprise and dismay at hearing someone of the caliber of Mr. Jed Babbin making this kind of mistake. Mr. B i am disheartened, but hopeful for the future.
I hope the offender will brush up on his Bible and his American History for my sake and the sake of the innocent public.
